The Day When We Were King & Queen - Malacca Wedding Dinner Reception

A year ago, my parents and my parents-in-law have came to an agreement that they wanted the reception to be separated, meaning we will be having two wedding receptions. One at KL for my parents' relatives and friends. Another one at Malacca for my parents-in-law's relatives and friends. So, here we went for another fashion show again..... :p

Furthermore, It was held on the next day after the KL wedding reception, meaning we need to drive to Malacca once we woke up. And I had a deal with Doris again.... Which is she gave me discounted rate for the makeover fees with the condition of I have to go to her place for the makeover.

So, here the story..... After the KL dinner reception, we went back to the hotel and I realized that the clothes and pajamas I brought together with me had already been brought back by somebody else. So, basically I had nothing with me to change. I only left with 2 choices.. One, sleep with the gown on; Two, sleep naked.... Of course, I chose number two... :p Romantic huh? slept naked with Mr Dunhill Red on our wedding day... hahaha!

So, the next day, we had to wait for my brother to bring me the clothes to change then headed to Doris's place. And then guess what..... We lost while we were on the way to Doris place! By the time, we reached there, it was already 3pm. She took 2hours to done my beautiful makeover. Then we "flew" to Malacca. By the time, we reached Malacca was already 7:30pm. And as you know, Malacca is a small city... People usually start the reception quite on time, unlike KL. So, after we changed and done prepared things, we walked to the restaurant (the hotel and restaurant just side by side). Then, straight away.... Music started... And we walked down to the aisle again.....

Hahaha.... I guess we were the only couple who late for our own wedding reception... Even Doris also salute us! She said that we are the most steady couple who almost late for the wedding reception :p

Ok, now.... Pictures do the talking again....... Malacca wedding reception is a Portuguese style wedding due to my mother-in-law is a Portuguese. And She was the one who prepared all these. *Thanks mama for everything*  By the way, I have to explained why my gown for the day seems like not so match with the hair accessories. It was because this hairstyle supposed to match with my another white gown. But I forgot to get a beautiful necklace from Doris. So, I just felt weird when i wore the white gown. Eventually, I just grabbed and decided to wear this purple gown again in a very limited time. So, what do you think? ^^

In this picture, it seems like daddy and mummy are the "main characters" for the show, right? hehe...

See? Mummy looks cute in this picture...

The Day When We Were King & Queen - KL Wedding Dinner Reception

Wedding only once in a life time ya........ So, of course I have to choose properly for the venue of the dinner reception.... Where was it? Read this....

Everybody was busy looking for their seats at the reception counter there....

That night, I discussed with Doris and she agreed with me to have 3 gowns on that night... By the way, all of my gowns were actually bought from China by myself and she said that people is actually got no gown to choose but I have too many gowns to choose from. Hahaha.... Yes! She was right... It was because when I went to China to get my own gowns, I brought back some extra gowns back to sell as well. So, it ended up.... I just love all the gowns that I brought back... So, don't know which one to choose ^^" At the end, I decided on these 3 gowns....

First, the white long dress for the pre-dinner cocktail section.....

Just love her makeover.. Doris said with this Atlantic style, she gave me a romantic look...

Second, A purple gown for the grand entry. It may look like blue color, in fact it is purple. Due to the narrow place at the reception area, I can't choose the bulky type of gown.. Furthermore, I don't want to and just don't like the too fancy type of gown. I prefer more elegant style. *wink*

Last but not least, how could I miss my favorite cheongsam right? For the whole night, most of the guests were actually prefer this cheongsam the most.... Me too~ :p

All of the three makeovers of the night *Thanks Doris*

It was a really happening night. Food was nice, show was great... Everybody was happy!

Ear-rings too heavy and it fell. So, Mr Dunhill Red helped me to wear it.

I just love to put my hand on Mr Dunhill Red's lap

As I wished, I got the chance to eat until second dish then only went to change my cheongsam. It was a deal between me and Doris. I begged her to let me eat my favorite dish~ It was my wedding... So, how could I missed my favorite dish right? hehe....

And of course, last gown for the cake cutting and wine pouring section...

And that was when the "yam seng" section started....

Once the "yam seng" section started, it also means the reception has come to an end..... It's time to say goodbye again.....

Blessings from my childhood friend

And the show was ended. I always tell friends that having a wedding reception is just like doing a fashion show. Indeed, it's true. We had spent over RM10k just for this wedding reception. But, we had no regret. So, what we got from this wedding reception was actually alot of happy memories. Memories are priceless....

The Day When We Were King & Queen - Church Ceremony

Here we were "flying" to the church due to we were almost late. The wedding mass was started at 2pm and there was another mass for the another 40years married couple at 330pm. So, Father Valentine was actually very strict on our time. But, thank God that we made it! ^^

Our wedding mass's venue was SFA church where I've been going to this church since 8years old.

Church decoration was exactly how I wanted it to be. Thanks to church's members~

Our wedding "pillow" with our wedding rings. Yes! I just love sapphire so much!

I've been told to wait in the car until daddy came and opened the door for me. And we din't even realized time just flew very fast. It actually already passed 2pm. While all my flower girls and ji muis were actually walking down the aisle with the music was playing, I was still nicely sitting in the car. ^^" This was a minor problem in our arrangement. But, I am letting it go~ Who care's about the problems right? Most important thing is only our marriage, not wedding... I think this is what people always fail to see when comes to plan their wedding. Along the way, only learn it.

Mr. Dunhill Red with his best man aka youngest brother. They look "chop-chop" right?

Mr Dunhill Red was waited until "neck long long" :p

And here we are..... Daddy and me were walking down the aisle together. At first, I was wanted daddy and mummy walked together with me, but mummy refused to do so. So, it ended up only me and daddy. For once, there was 1 aunty told me before... She said that when she was walking down the aisle on her wedding day, her mind was blank. And YES! It's true!!! My mind was blank and I didn't even recall what was the song they were playing ^^" I was expecting that maybe I will be feel touch or cry when walking down the aisle. But, nope.... My mind just went blank O.o haha.....

If your eyes are shape, you can see the clock at the back is actually showing 2:05pm. So, we were late for 5mins ^^"

And the mass is started......
