A Short Family Vacation to Pangkor Island

Three months ago, while I was still with AirAsia. Due to the heavy workload, I just can't stand with the life that everyday was only work and work and work.... I was just too desperate for a holiday... So, I started to make my complaint to Mr Dunhill Red, daddy and mummy. It ended up daddy and mummy agreed to bring us to Pangkor Island since it was also because of daddy wanted to bring us there long time ago.

So, we started our journey by drove to Lumut. It took us around 5hours to be there. Due to it was a last mins decision, we booked the hotel only when we were on the way to Lumut. This time, we stayed at Pulau Island Beach Resort for just a night.

Here we reached Lumut jetty...

We checked in at the Pangkor Island Beach Resort's counter and we just left our luggages to the staffs for them to send over to the resort. We took the 1:45pm ferry to Pangkor. So, by the time we reached the resort, it was just nice for us to check in.

The ferry reached on time. Once we got in the ferry, "snack" time started... The ride was only 30minutes...

And finally, we were here at Pangkor Island.....

Once we came out from the ferry, we been guided to this white transport. It seriously look like the transport that use to carry horses.. haha! Anyway, it was an unique experience to ride on this transport. It made me feel like.... Yeah! Finally Im on holiday!!!!!

Once we reached the resort, we been greeted by the friendly staffs and been served with a glass of welcome drink while we were checking in. The staff was very fast and the process wasn't took for long.

Guess what? I spotted something interest when everybody was waiting for the checked in...

A hornbill!!!!

Yes!!! There is a rainforest reserve near the resort. So, we will be seeing hornbill, monkey running around the resort. It was really nice to be back to the nature~

Once we got our room keys, we been brought to our rooms. They were so kind enough to give us connecting room since we booked two rooms from them.

Nice and cozy room. I just love the bed so much~

Warning for the guests.. Monkey are just too smart and naughty

It wasn't a good timing for us to go Pangkor Island at that time. So, we actually can't see a sunny day on that two days. But thank God that it wasn't rain at all....

After we unpacked our things, we got ourselves changed and headed to the swimming pool..... The pool was ok. Only problem is... it's not that deep. I guess that the purpose for the hotel making this pool shallow is for the children.

After a nice swam, we took a taxi and headed to town for some food hunt. Found a restaurant, forgot the name.... But, the food there was so delicious....

This "lasak steam fish" was my favorite.

After dinner, we went to a local shop at town, thought of buying some local stuffs back to KL. But, we realized that they sell quite expensive. So, we just decided to drop the idea. Then, we back to the hotel and called it a day...

The next day, woke up early to go for the complimentary breakfast. It was a buffet style... which are me and daddy's all time favorite. Furthermore, the choices are variety.

The restaurant

After done with the breakfast, we had a walk at the beach and took some pictures...

Around 12noon, we checked out. While waiting for the shutter bus to pick us up to the jetty, I still managed to take some photo...

My beloved daddy and mummy

Spotted the monkey

Then, we took the 1230pm ferry back to the Lumut jetty.

Shot this when I was in the ferry

When we were on the way back to KL, we stopped by Teluk Intan to have dinner. So, before my camera's battery went flat.. I took a picture of daddy and mummy with the Teluk Intan Leaning Tower ^^

Thanks daddy and mummy for brought me to a short local trip while I was having so pressure and desperate for a trip. Love you all~
